Geogia

I have been here for one month, even though I did complain a little bit about me not liking Georgia before. Though, that happened when I was really cranky. That wasn't real. Well, in fact even though Georgia is not that 'happening' if compare to the huge states like New York or California, it's not really that bad. :p

There is quite a huge Asian population in Atlanta, GA. There's not so much going on here but still, the 4 main attractions here, 'The Stone Mountain', 'The coke museum', 'The Georgia Aquarium' and 'CNN' attract quite a lot of tourists from the states nearby. So, that day, my roommates'(the loving married couple whom I mentioned in my previous post)parents came visit. I joined them in their one day trip! I went to the three attractions besides 'CNN'. *sigh. My friends' parents weren't interested in that. haha.. too bad, never mind, maybe I can visit there sometimes later. :P

OK. So, cut the crap. The first destination-- Stone Mountain. Basically, it's a mountain that was formed by a gigantic stone. There was an amazing carve against the huge stone. Now, enjoy the photos.

I took this photo because of the extremely hot guy with tattoo on his shoulder. MAN! He was super hot! He was tanned and have six packs on his stomach. Wow... I tailed him along and caught the photo!
After the exhausting climb under the super hot sun in this summer, it's good to have a cup of creamy ice coffee from Starbuck, served by a hot guy, O_0, wasn't able to catch his photo! Bah, I wasn't happy...
The loving couple with lemon. Aren't they cute? :) I love them a lot, super nice people.

Before setting off to the coke museum, we had some little extra time so we chilled out a little bit in a park nearby. The summer in Georgia was killing everybody. So, there was a man made waterfall in the open area. Wow... Go have fun!
Second Destination--The Coke Museum. It's a museum of coke. It was an awesome place as you got to see cool 4D movies, history of cokes, the making of coke, the advertisement of coke, the greatness of coke, and drink as much as coke as you want to, in that museum! It's all about coke! Yeah!

Here's the weird coke from Italy. It tastes BITTER! Gosh! It's so unique. Coke from different countries taste differently! You guys have to try it!

Final Destination! The Georgia Aquarium. Hmmm. This is an enormous aquarium. But, I prefer the one in Boston, which I went with Protocol. We got to see penguins, but not here in Georgia. :P

Personally, I love the last picture the most. I was kinda emotional when I saw the huge whale swimming behind the glass.

"Where's your home, my big whale? You belong to the deep and mystic blue sea... I want to be like him.. I want to turn into a big fish, but I want to swim in the sea.. not in the aquarium..."

Anyways, it was a fulfilling trip. :) My friends and their parents had been really nice to me. I can never thank them enough. I love you all! :P

Likes&Love

http://ninjamonkeys.co.za/media/in_love_016.jpg

Likes and Love. What's the difference? I know, it's a very emo and lame topic to talk about. But I came across one article about that issue months ago, all of a sudden, it just stroke my mind. I think I gotta write something about it. It's actually a good story that all of us should read.

One day, a kindergarten school teacher was teaching the kids about the huge animal on earth, elephant.

One boy said aloud, " I LIKE elephant!"
After that, one girl said, "I don't like elephant but I LOVE it!"

Other kids started to make noise. They were bothered by the difference between love and likes. Some of them claimed that love and likes are the same whereas some of them said that only love is the real inner feeling. The teacher was kinda amused by that, she smiled seeing all those little children arguing with one another. At last, the teacher took the kids to a park nearby.

When they were sitting in a circle, the teacher said to all her fellow students,
"Now, boys and girls, walk around this park and find something that you think you 'LOVE'. After that, show them to me and tell me why you love them so much.."

Then, those kids walked around the park and collected something they claimed to love in their little hands.

One chubby boy showed the teacher a little squirrel in his hand. He told the teacher, " I love this little squirrel so I catch him when he was unaware.. He looks really cute."

One girl with pig tails handed the teacher a small little yellow flower, she said to the teacher, " This flower is so pretty, I love it so picked it and shows it to you, Miss, isn't it lovely?"

Another skinny boy happily showed his teacher a colorful butterfly he found in the soil. He said, "Teacher, this butterfly is so pretty, I think I love it so I caught it and show it to you. WOW. It has the utmost wonderful colors I have ever seen."

Initially, other children showed their teacher the little things they have collected from the park. Some of them had shining stones, green leaves and squashy worms. Under the hot sun, their redden fat cheeks glistened with sweats. They were like a a hive of bee, buzzing the teacher with what they had collected. While smiling at those innocent faces, the teacher saw one of her students standing silently at a corner. She went up to the girl.

The girl looked at the teacher helplessly. In her lowest sweet voice, she told the teacher she didn't get anything from the park.

She said, " I saw an adorable squirrel. I love it so much but I didn't catch him, I think he should be staying in on the tree with her family. Then, I saw the little yellow flower on the ground, it was really pretty but I didn't pluck it because it belongs to the nature. It needs mother nature to keep growing strong and survive. At last, I saw the big and colorful butterfly. The colors it had tickled my fancy but I just couldn't catch it cause I think she will be happier to fly among the flowers and bushes..."

The teacher laughed and patted the girl. Next she held her in warm embrace while telling the others kids who were circling the little girl,

"That is love. A real love which I was talking about. It's totally different from the likes... Love is setting it free, seeing it grows while ensuring it stays safe and happy. "

The story above is interesting but yet meaningful, isn't it? I like it a lot so would like to post it here for you guys to read, if you have time. :)

Cheers.

Pride March (23th June 2007)

I always love to participate in this kind of ceremony. Hell yes, I love homosexuality. Nope, neither do I a gay nor supporting this culture. It's just that I strongly believe that every humans have equal rights and we have to fight for it. Yeah!

Besides those extremely HOT and STRIKING gay and lesbians associations, there were transsexuals, bi-sexual, SM club, and Nudity societies enrolled in the march. It was a day with total sexual freedom! People marched topless or even nudely just to achieve equality and creating awareness. Yes, you might say that Americans are crazy! aha. Welcome to America!
